Little Meadow – new planning application (July 2017)

Little Meadow site plan, August 2017

A new planning application (reference 17/00355/RVC) has been submitted to vary the conditions of the planning consent granted for Little Meadow on Corby Road to allow for up to four mobile homes to be present on the site at any one time. This replaces the previous planning application submitted in August 2016 (which has now been withdrawn) to increase the number of mobile homes on the site to six.

A meeting of Cottingham Parish Council’s planning committee will be held at 7pm on Wednesday 26 July at the Village Hall Annex, Berryfield Road, Cottingham where this planning application is being considered. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

The current conditions, granted in February 2014, allow for two caravans on the site at any one time (of which no more than one shall be a static caravan) and a utility / day room. The agent’s Planning Statement supporting the current application states that the additional mobile homes are all for occupation by members of the applicant’s family and has proposed inclusion of a planning condition that “all occupants of the residential units…shall solely be members, dependants, spouses or in laws of the applicant’s family (or possess a maiden name as such) at all times.”
