School Christmas Fair raises £932

The Cottingham School Christmas Fair on 3 December raised £932, with the raffle alone taking over £220.

The event had a lot of support from parents who baked cakes, donated raffle prizes and made things for the homemade craft stall, not to mention the many people from the village and the school who visited on the day.

Many parents of former pupils came along to man stalls and former headteacher Emma Tayler came back to look after the mulled wine stall.

Organiser Zoe Nursey said: “Cottingham school choir were thrilled to be able to come along and sing after they had been singing outside the Corby Cube for the Corby Christmas Market in the morning. The fair brought everyone together and was a lovely Christmassy couple of hours.”
