Valley Voice had a successful 2022. It ended with a sell-out Christmas concert including new and old Christmas songs as well as traditional carols. An evening of carol singing at venues around the Welland Valley raised £179 for charity, split between the Air Ambulance and Corby & District Cancer Care (Lakelands).
In late November, a small group from the choir went to Rockingham Castle to be the carol singers for BBC Countryfile’s Christmas programme, broadcast on 18th December. The photo above shows some choir members with Countryfile presenters John Craven and Anita Rani.
