Corby Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be holding a drop in session at the Village Store and Cafe for you to come along and share your thoughts about healthcare in Corby and, in particular, the recently announced plans for local GP services and the Corby Urgent Care Centre, which is to be renamed the Corby Same Day Access Hub.
The CCG plans to retain an 8am to 8pm service and also increase GP provision at the Cottingham Road site. Same day appointments will be available for anyone who needs one but, rather than the current walk-in arrangement, you will need to call first and speak to a specially trained navigator who can make an appointment for you and also ensure you’re booked in to the right service.
The CCG is asking people to help shape the way the service is accessed. From 12 February to 8 April 2018, you can have your say by completing an online or paper questionnaire. Your input will feed directly into the access and navigation elements of the contract specification for the Hub service. More information is available at www.corbyccg.nhs.uk.
