Come along to Ant Licquorish’s Village Charity Quiz in aid of Jen’s Hedegehog Rescue, a small local charity in Great Oakley that is doing an amazing job rescuing and caring for our spiky friends. Every hedgehog costs around £10 a week to look after, and she helped around 300 hedgehogs last year.

Food is provided if you wish, either fish (or chicken) and chips or a vegetarian option.

The cost is £10 per person including food or £3 if you want to bring your own. There is no bar, so please bring your own drinks. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start.

For more information, please call Ant on 771062 or email him at

Did you know? Hedgehog numbers have declined by around a third over the last 10 years and they are now an endangered species. In fact, the People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) believes there are now fewer than a million hedgehogs left in the UK, down from an estimated 2 million in the mid 990s and 36 million in the 1950s.
