Next to the School, Berryfield Road, Cottingham LE16 8XY

Isla St Clair will be making a welcome return to the Village Hall Annex, performing traditional and country music from her native Scotland.

One of Britain’s foremost traditional singers, Isla is noted for the depth of feeling she brings to her country’s music. Aged just 12, she recorded the first of many traditional ballads for the School of Scottish Studies, which are still used as reference works.

Isla will be supported by our very own local celebrity radio presenter and poet Chuck Middleton, who will be doing a short poetry recital before Isla’s performance.

There is a pay bar and nibbles. Tickets are £12 each from Irene on 01536 770059 or Audrey on 01536 771084.
