The Cottingham School PTFA is hoping to use this year’s Christmas Fair to bring everyone together under their Christmas tree in the school hall with Christmas Carols and mulled wine.
There are also lots of fun activities including Jolly Jam Jars, water and wine, chocolate tombola, craft activities, a raffle, preloved children’s toy sale and, if you’re looking to pick up some Christmas gifts, a homemade craft stall.
The children will again be running their reindeer food bar, offering a choice of seeds, nuts etc to help keep Rudolph and his team in top form as they fly in on Christmas Eve (the birds will eat anything that the reindeers leave behind, of course!).
There is also sustenance for human visitors, with a new hot chocolate bar and the ever popular tea and cake stall.
The PTFA is hoping to beat the fabulous £1,037 raised at last year’s event. Proceeds from the Fair will go towards an outdoor classroom area at the school to provide an exciting, stimulating learning environment for the children.
