The Red Lion pub in Middleton will be hosting the second annual ‘Great British Pickle Off’ on Wednesday 9 November, starting at 7pm.
The idea is to find the best home made pickled onions, and have a bit of fun into the bargain!
Cottingham’s John Bolton (pictured right), who won the inaugural event last year, will be defending his title and the entries will be judged by a local panel.
