Have your say on health, Village Shop, 23 March

Corby CCG Drop-in Session
Friday 23 March, 10.30am to 12.30pm, Village Store and Cafe

Corby Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has rescheduled its drop in session for the Village Store and Cafe. This is a great opportunity for you to come along and share your thoughts about healthcare in Corby and, in particular, the recently announced plans for local GP services and the Corby Urgent Care Centre, which is to be renamed the Corby Same Day Access Hub.

The CCG plans to retain an 8am to 8pm service and also increase GP provision at the Cottingham Road site. Same day appointments will be available for anyone who needs one but, rather than the current walk-in arrangement, you will need to call first and speak to a specially trained navigator who can make an appointment for you and also ensure you’re booked in to the right service.

Online questionnaire:

If you can’t make this session, you can have your say on the plans up until 8 April by completing the CCG’s online questionnaire at  www.corbyccg.nhs.uk/current-conversations. The feedback you provide will help shape the way the Hub service is accessed.

Paper copies of the questionnaire can be picked up at local GP surgeries and the main reception at the Corby Cube. The CCG is also happy to post out copies to people who cannot access these locations and do not want to complete the questionnaire online.

The CCG is also running two workshops as follows:

  • Tuesday 13 March, 2 to 4pm, Corby Cube (Council Chamber)
  • Tuesday 3 April, 6 to 8pm, Best Western Hotel
