Bin collection day changing
From the week commencing 17 October, Cottingham and Middleton’s bin collection day will be changing from Tuesdays to Fridays. A tag has been placed on your wheelie bin, and you can find more information on the Northants County Council website.
As the changes would mean we’d be waiting three weeks for a black bin collection, to tide us over, the Council will also be collecting your black bin on Friday 21 October, along with your green and brown bins. Your green food waste caddy should be placed out every week as normal.

Northants County Council (NCC) says that the changes are necessary to accommodate new housing developments, to improve the efficiency of the collection service and to allow for the ongoing growth in property numbers into the future.
