Lesley Tilley sadly passed away on 12 October aged 64.
Some 250 family members and friends attended her burial service at Cottingham Church in October.
Her husband Brian and son Paul would like to thank everyone for their support and donations, which amounted to £708.22 for the Air Ambulance and Cancer Research UK.
Lesley Tilley (1 May 1952 to 12 October 2016)
Lesley was born in Corby in 1952 after her family had moved from Wales for the steel works. She moved to Cottingham in 1971 when she married Brian, who she had met at the Red Lion in Middleton. The couple lived in Ripley Road for two years before moving to Berryfield Road and were delighted when, after 18 years of marriage, their son Paul arrived.
Lesley worked for Golden Wonder, Corby Borough Council and, in the village, at the Cottingham Shoe Factory and Hunting Lodge Hotel. She was a keen gardener, loved her association with Cottingham Football Club and played skittles in the ladies league every Thursday.
Lesley was the life and soul of every party and will be fondly remembered.
