Village walkabout, Wed 18 December, 2pm to 3pm
Villagers are invited to join Corby Borough Council’s Neighbourhood Wardens Karen Millsop and Brian Houston for a walkabout in the top half of Cottingham (Ripley Road/Bancroft etc). The idea is to take a look around the area and identify any concerns or issues that need addressing. Meet on the corner of Ripley and Rockingham Road at 2pm.

Are your children safe online? This 90 minute session is being run by the Hope Church, Corby in partnership with national charity Care for the Family. Community litter pick, Sun 15 March, 10.30am
Cottingham and Middleton community litter pick. Meet at the Orchard on Main Street, Middleton. Litter pickers, gloves and bags will be provided.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. View poster

Valley Voice Choir, Carols round the village, Fri 20 Dec
Valley Voice will be visiting the local pubs and hostleries to spread some Christmas cheer. They’ll be at the Nazz Lounge in Middleton at 7.15pm, at East Carlton Cricket Club at 8pm, The Spread Eagle at 9pm and the Royal George at 9.30pm.

Valley Voice will be in the Orchard on Main Street, Middleton. Come along and listen, get in the Christmas spirit and join in with your favourite carols.

The Christmas Journey, Christmas Eve, 4pm
We’ll be starting near the corner in Middleton at 4pm and walking up to Cottingham Church, stopping off along the way for a retelling of the Christmas Story. Call Angela on 772297 if your child would like to dress up and be part of the story.

Monster Mash children’s Halloween party, Village Hall Annex, Thur 31 October, 6 to 8pm

Italian Clothes Sale, 1 Glover Court, Middleton, Mon 4 November, 7 to 9pm
Kate Cross would like to invite you to an Italian clothes sale. Browse and try on the winter clothes collection from top brands including Made in Italy, Miss Sugar, C Valentyne. There are also throws and jewellery available. Entrance is £2 including a glass of wine. All profits will go to The Mill project.

Cottingham School, Nativity dress rehearsal, Mon 9 Dec, 2pm
Villagers are invited to come along to Cottingham Cof E Primary School for the dress rehearsal of their annual Nativity Play, including tea, coffee and mince pies.

Open evening, Village Store and Cafe, Wed 11 December, 6-8pm
Come along to the open evening at the village store. Enjoy a glass of wine and a mince pie, and see what they’ve got in store for the festive season.
