Bellringers Tower Open Day

Cottingham Church will be taking part in a tower open day on 16 May, organised by the Kettering Branch of the Peterborough Diocesan Guild of Bellringers.
St Mary Magdalene is one of 24 towers that will be open during the day for visiting bellringers to come and ring the bells.
Cottingham will be open for just over an hour from 11am to 12.10pm.
There may be additional vehicles in the village around this time, especially down Church Street, and of course the church bells will be ringing throughout the hour.
The money raised from the day will go to fund the restoriation of the bells at St Botolph’s Church, Stoke Albany.
