Village Fete – 24 June, 12 noon to 5pm

Cottingham C of E School and Recreation Field View map
Berryfield Road, Cottingham LE16 8XY

Come along to this year’s village fete for a fun family day out.

There will be a BBQ and beer tent, a Vino Van selling wine, Prosecco and Pimms plus stalls selling books, toys and plants and the ever popular ‘Made in the Villages’ stall selling beautiful hand crafted items.

Try your hand in the lucky dip or enter the raffle. Prizes so far include a £50 cash prize, designer Sunglasses from Davis Optometrists, a picnic hamper, Lego sets, OPI nail care goodies, a full taster selection from Gander’s Goat and vouchers for Boden (£50), gym memberships, Farndon Fields, Telford Snowdome, a meal at The Royal George, afternoon tea from Dovecote Buttery, Rockingham Castle entry, bowling for 4 people from the New York Thunderbowl in Kettering and a cut and blow dry at Askews hair salon.

For the kids, there will be a bouncy castle, a visit from ’Marshall’ from the TV series PAW Patrol and stalls selling slushies, ice cream, sweeties, candy floss and popcorn. The fire engine and police car will also be paying a visit (non emergency permitting!).

Live music will be provided by village band Soundpost, and our very own former Gladiators referee John Anderson will be back, by popular demand, to referee family games and tug of war.

More attractions are currently being finalised – keep your eye on this website for the latest information.

The Fete is being organised by Cottingham School PTFA for the community and they are raising funds for the school with a generous donation to St Mary Magdalene Church.
