DESCRIPTION:Coach trip to the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA) in Staffordshire\, departing the village at 8.45am from the bus stop on Main Street\, LE16 8XF (at the end of Bury Close)\, and leaving the NMA at 4pm to arrive back in Cottingham at around 5.30pm. \nThe cost is £20 to include coach travel and a 50 minute guided tour of the NMA aboard a land train. DESCRIPTION:After the extremely successful open mic night held at the village hall in June\, we’re doing it again! \nWhether you’d like to sing\, play an instrument\, tell a joke or recite some poetry\, whether you’ve joined us before or if it’s your first time\, we welcome all performers. You’re assured of a warm welcome and a supportive\, appreciative audience. \nAnd of course\, if you’d just like to come along\, listen to the music and enjoy a drink or two from the pop up bar\, you’ll be very welcome. \nThe bar opens at 6pm and we’ll be starting the music a bit earlier than advertised\, at 7pm\, as we have a packed line up for you.  \nIf you’d like to perform and haven’t let us know in advance\, that’s absolutely fine\, just have a word with George when you arrive and we’ll slot you in. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Tamashi Asian Soul Food trailer will be back outside Rockingham Forest Wheelers’ clubhouse on Ashley Road serving delicious food from 6 to 9pm. \n\n\nThe Wheelers’ clubhouse will be open and everyone in the local community is welcome to come along\, enjoy their food inside and grab a drink from the licensed bar. \nFor anyone interested in cycling\, the Wheelers will be organising three rides\, to suit all abilities\, on the same evenings. Again\, non members would be more than welcome to join in. Just turn up with a bike for a 7pm start. This is a great chance to get back into cycling or to try it for the first time. There will be ride leaders in every group who will ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable ride.
