SUMMARY:Village Wine Safari
DESCRIPTION:The annual village Wine Safari is taking place on Saturday 10 September starting at the first house at 7pm. \nThis event has been held every year in the village since the year 2000\, with only a few years where it didn’t happen\, most recently because of Covid. \nIt’s a great night – Safari guests can enjoy a glass or two of wine served at four houses\, and at house 4 there is also hot food\, a cheese table in the cellar with a bar to purchase more wine (if you need more refreshment!) and dancing to a live band with a DJ until midnight. \nThe Safari houses/gardens are revealed after you’ve purchased your ticket\, on the information dropped through your door. \nThis event has raised thousands of pounds over the years for village causes\, with funds helping our Church\, the School\, the Mill Community Hub and various other ventures. Profits will go to village causes\, which will be listed on the village website and in the newsletter after the event. \nPlease support this event. It’s a fun way to meet new people in your villages and takes you on a little tour to some places you may never have been! \nThere are a few tickets left and these are £30 each for the evening\, to include 5 glasses of wine\, hot food\, cheese table\, (pay) bar (cash only)\, dancing to live music and a fabulous raffle to win a wheelbarrow full of delicious wine for one lucky winner! \nTo get your tickets\, please drop off cash (sorry cash only) through the door of either of the two houses below in an envelope with your name and address\, and your tickets will be dropped in to you. \nAli Freestone\, Bromwell House\, 7 Ashley Rd\, Middleton \nLorraine Desmond\, The Granary\, 4a Corby Road\, Cottingham \nWhy not get some neighbours or friends together and come along in a group?
